Thank God for the Non-AC !

I am really glad the Indian Railways is not completely air-conditioned. A travel in the summer, forces you to stand by the door; and if you are lucky as the train passes a roadcross in a village, you might see a mini van with school girls (at its back) waving at you.

But then, you are seeing India...a progressing India, where education is no longer only for the boys, where dreams would no longer remain unfulfilled. An India whose roots still remain innocent, but more powerful.

In short... most recommended travel option : THE INDIAN RAILWAYS

Oh by the way!

Forgot this bit:

Welcome! A small intro , I am Arun Raj...Hi ! As you already know , me luuuvvvv travel ! Most of my travels are done with my twin bro, Varun Raj....call him Varun! And there's occasionally some of our friends who accompany us on the same. So most of this blog will be written from a youth perspective, with a lot of fun, and cool stuff. Don't mind !

That's Varun

and That's Me

WELCOME PPL !

So Here's the Rules of the HOUSE !

Been wanting to start a travel log for a long while now. I am a serious travel freak, and I love seeing new places. And as most of you know, seeing a lot of places all comes down to one thing..."CUTTING COSTS and NOT THE FUN." Believe me when I say, I totally know about what I just quoted.

I have been through a lot of travel blogs, and travel books and websites...often I have even bumped into a lot of foreign tourists on trains, buses and places carrying a huge back and a bulky book, which later I figure out is a tourist guide. I always wondered if they were coming to India, to read that book or see the places! Often I end up recommending must-visit places to them, and other details which most of the tour books don't offer them. So I thought, why not just write an online, blog which travellers like you could google up.

So here's the thing! I don't like writing much, and I like to keep things simple, and to the point...and most importantly useful.

In the content that I will post, you will find 3 specific details for each place:

1. Best way to get there? Where to Stay?
2. What to do once there?
a) how to move around?
b) maps, locations, photos
3. My MUST-NOT-MISS list! [ MNM ;) ]
a) must-eat-food of the place, and where to find the best.
b) what to buy as a souvenir.

And with 3 things, always comes a BONUS GIFT...

BONUS : the exciting places to do exciting things. [ well, everwhere I go, I usually find these special places which are perfect for couples to have a romantic time, or for friends to hang out, or stuff like that. Here, I would tell you about such things ]

Cheers!
